The Real Estate wisdom of the 3 things that create value for a property are "Location! Location!!Location!!!"
What 3 things create value for an interactive ,educational and opinion driven Website such as seniordoc.org? When Adam, our Web master, computer Guru and the expert on website development was asked this question, he said without hesitation "Articles! Articles!! Articles!!!" Articles inform , create various opinions and cause dialogue that creates additional information
It is natural for a new member of the community to visit each Forum and review the previous topics and responses discussed by members of the community. Eventually Forums of greater interest are visited more frequently. It is hoped that members of the community, not only observe, but participate in the various topics under discussion. Participation is as simple as sending an
E mail, except that this communication will be reaching a far greater audience than your personal E mail .
You may have a subject that you wish to contribute, that could be too long for a Forum topic and yet too short or controversial to submit to the Optometric print journals. This would be ideal for submission in our Articles Section.
Submission is simple. You must be registered for the Private Forums. Attach your article to an E mail communication to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. We do not make judgements regarding content. If the article can create legal problems for you or the website I'll communicate with you and we can discuss it prior to publication.
We shall not edit or change content. This means you must check for typos as well as spelling and grammatical errors.
Understand that the Article Section is in the public area and your paper will be read by ODs and interested non ODs world wide. That is the glory of the internet.
If you are writing a controversial article expect opinions and criticism and be prepared to defend you views. Every community member is free to express their opinions. When it concerns Optometric issues, we hope those opinions will be in one of the Private Forums.
There is nothing more gratifying than to share your views with colleagues and have collegial discussions. The Article Section will afford you that opportunity. Please take advantage of it. I am available by
E mail to answer any questions. The present articles in the section might show you the way. Click on Articles in the left hand column of the home page.
