finding someone's address from e-mail

Does anybody have a utility that can be used to find someone's physical address if the only information you have is their e-mail address?

Hi Ed,

Your question doesn't have a simple answer. There is no way to correlate email addresses with real addresses, unless --

* the organization that the person belongs to has a 'finger server' online, and the person left their real address in their profile. (on a unix machine, you'd type 'finger person@their-email-address.com) For privacy reasons, many organizations have disabled their finger servers.

* Alternatively, if this person has a web site, or has communicated online, google may have caught the communication, and you can find a place where they disclose their physical address. type their email into http://www.google.com and see what you get back.
