Number 24 should be of interest to developmental optometrists (and the rest of us too.) A French team of ophthalmologists found that dyslexics have much cruder saccadic ability than normal children. Developmental O.D.'s could have told them that 30 years ago, but maybe they'll listen when the information comes from OMD's.
Other studies were listed that give a scientific basis for looking at VT as a treatment for learning disabilities. Could we collect a body of evidence that would make a strong case to the insurance companies that they should pay for this?
