I saw an article on MSN-Money today that made me dyspepsic. It was "Why Walmart Will Save America" by Anthony Mirhaydari. The article pours praise on WM for shielding customers from inflation, saving on health care costs with their new health clinics, saving heavy buyers an average of $2500 per year, and helping take pressure off the Fed.
It reminded me of the speech given by Maxmillian Schell in "The Man in the Glass Booth," where he rhapsodizes over his love for Hitler.
