"To whom it may concern,

The Peace Corps is currently seeking an American optometrist to work in Nepal training Nepalese eye care professionals. I'm looking for ways to inform your visitors about this unique opportunity.

Your site was recommended to me as a place where I might reach the optometric community. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or if there is a job posting capability that we might take advantage of. Thanks very much for your help."

Make a Difference

The Peace Corps has a wonderful opportunity for an American optometrist or ophthalmologist to work in Nepal training Nepalese eye care professionals.

According to the World Health Organization, there is a dire need for more trained eye care professionals in Nepal. Peace Corps Volunteers serve for 27 months and receive transport to and from their country of service, medical and dental care and a stipend to cover basic necessities.

For more information on how you can make a difference in the world, please contact Country Desk Officer Catherine Andang at candang@peacecorps.gov or (202) 692-2413 or Country Desk Assistant Marci Fradkin at mfradkin@peacecorps.gov
or (202) 692-2414."

A good question to ask " Are Student Loans put on hold during the 27 months?". If you receive information please share with our members.
