About the Speaker
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Dr. Johann Schlager took a diverse path to optometry. Starting with an art major at UC Berkeley, he explored creative expression.
Along the way, he became an entrepreneur, founded a coffee roasting business, and worked as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines, gaining a global perspective. His sense of duty led him to the US Air Force, instilling discipline and leadership. This diverse background paved the way for their optometry career.
He earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2019 and pursued a specialized residency in pediatrics and vision therapy.
Currently, he co-owns a thriving private practice in Merced, CA, which he transformed with hard work and dedication. He integrated cutting-edge technology for thorough and efficient eye exams, prioritizing high-quality care for their patients. His passion for optometry and dedication to exceptional service continue to drive his impact on community vision health.
