Recent meta analysis data show that while the reductions of some brain region volume is not conclusive, that is not the case for the orbitofrontal cortex. The serious outcome of this is probable reduced ability to process low spatial frequencies ... this has implications for not just detecting environment, but social cues. I will be posting additional papers and some relevant vision specific work.

My concern here is that orbitofrontal cortex connections are in virtually all humans established during adolescence.
Agreed... that is why I have major concerns about this publication that concluded that brain changes were not significant.....
