Full Time Optician - Single OD Private Practice

We are currently seeking a Manager for our office in Somerset, NJ. We are looking for a highly motivated Optician that is outgoing, professional, compassionate, good communicator with a strong desire to help provide an excellent patient experience. The manager is responsible for the overall sales and profitability of the optical dispensary. Duties to include merchandising, inventory management, training and safety. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in managing overall performance of the entire retail operation. The Optician assists and educates patients with their selection of eyeglass frames and lenses. They are responsible for overseeing all duties in the optical area, including placing orders to maintain inventory, dispensing, and repairs and adjustments for eyeglasses. A NJ State Optician's License is welcomed but not required.
