Maryland TPA Licensed OD needed PT or FT with 1 shorter weekend day required (9-3). Only 15 min from 495 beltway and 30 min to Alexandria VA or 30 min to Washington DC.
Residency or VA training a plus but not mandatory. The right candidate should enjoy disease based cases and full scope care. I am not looking for someone who just likes to do refraction and refers everything out. We have great retina docs and Glaucoma docs we work with for OMD care / consults when needed.
Office is well equipped with all the toys such as latest EMR, fundus camera, VF, Marco TRS 5100 Auto phoropter, and Cirrus 4000 OCT.
Interesting non monotonous disease based practice with lots of Red eye / Dry Eye treatment, Diabetic Exams, Glaucoma suspects, HTN, Cats, Punctal plugs etc .
3 office locations allows for a flexible schedule and vacation coverage available from other associate doctors.
Familiarity with Billing and coding is a plus.
This is a long term well paying position with a great base of 130k and the potential of easily making 40k in just bonus plus all the benefits of a FT job including a full benefits pkg with CE, malpractice Insurance, PTO flex days, sick days, major holidays off, etc.
One of our current doctors has to move across country and so this position is going to be open.
This is a W2 position, not a 1099 one where you are stuck with all your taxes.
