GOLDEN, CO – August 19, 2025 – Eyecare Republic (ECR) is pleased to announce the establishment of a new partnership with Optometry Giving Sight (OGS). Under the agreement, Eyecare Republic will provide in-kind promotional support of OGS and its mission through its media channels including Optometry 411 and ECR Newsletter, as well as via the company’s social media accounts and website. The agreement with Eye Care Republic will help further OGS’s mission of eradicating preventable blindness and vision impairment around the world.
Eyecare Republic is an independent national optometric alliance founded by optometrists. The company’s goal is to bring independent eyecare practitioners (ECPs) into the network to provide them with the tools they need to grow their practice while giving them choice in vendor partnership. Eyecare Republic curates its partners based on need, not on corporate agenda. The organization aims for practice differentiation, and strives to bring those products and services to its members that will ensure their success as practice owners. There is no cost to join ECR.

Optometry Giving Sight is a non-profit organization that raises funds from optometrists, optometry practices, and optometry-related businesses and corporations to award grants for sustainable, impactful projects that expand the profession and improve access to vision care in underserved areas of the world. During the last 20 years, OGS has: awarded more than 200 grants for primary eye care services for more than 15 million people; funded the training of more than 14,000 optometrists and eye care personnel; established more than 200 vision centers in underserved areas; and served individuals of all ages in more than 50 countries.
