It looks like it was a clerical error on their part. They seized four locations for failure to pay. Then he showed the state the tax returns that he had already apparently filed for that time period and they gave it all back. Way to go Kansas.

A simple clerical error? No way! Government is our friend and benefactor! They are there to help us!

Do you mean to say he simply produced his tax returns and was allowed to re-open? No way! Government simply doesn't make those kinds of mistakes, especially with taxes. No, there is a back story to this, I'm sure.

We need to have efficient, benign government run more things....espcially in health care.

Thanks for finding that, I did a cursory search and didn't see anything. It's still kind of a tax error, but on the part of his former employees. Good luck straightening that out, we all know the IRS is so easy to work with. Although that article is dated December 2012, so I would think some progress has been made on it since.
