Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography, or OCTA, is new, non-invasive approach to visualizing retinal vasculature that is transforming the way physicians see diabetes. In this practice building with OCTA series, recognized thought leader Dr. Julie Rodman discusses how to see retinal vasculature without having to refer patients out, visualize signs of disease earlier, make more intelligent referrals, manage more pathology, and elevate the practice with state-of-the-art imaging technology.

Attendees of this course will explore:
• The difference in time domain OCT, spectral domain OCT, and OCTA
• How OCT Angiography works
• How to apply the data clinically for inner retinal disease management

This webinar is ideal for clinicians and practice owners looking to learn more about the clinical impact of OCT Angiography for inner retinal disease, specifically diabetic eye disease.

I have performed OCTA retinal imaging since the technology became available four years ago. The ability to visualize tissue perfusion is a game-changer when you are talking about vascular diseases like diabetes.

Our hard drive broke last year and we had to practice without our OCTA device for a about 10 days and I felt almost helpless when I examined my patients with diabetes. Almost had withdrawal symptoms...

Talk about being dependent on technology - it changes everything!

Looking forward to this one, hope to see folks there on wednesday.

Dr. Rodman also recently did a webinar on screening OCT not too long ago. (In addition to her CEwire talks! We are keeping her busy...)
