What is an American Board of Optometry certified opticians

and will cover the science and innovation behind ophthalmic lenses. Participants will learn about the development of ophthalmic lens monomers, lens casting, how a monomer becomes a finished or semi-finished lens blank, and how to communicate the performance benefits of ophthalmic lens materials to the patient materials. The goal is to help patients make more informed eyewear choices.
