Quiet Republican Rises in Noisy Year - Wall Street Journal

"Mr." Boozman, O.D.

I wrote the WSJ way back when I was in optometry school about one of their articles, which referred to an optometrist as "Mr." yet referred to an ophthalmologist as "Dr.". They sent back a short, pissy response that said their "editorial policy" was to only refer to MDs, Dentists and Veterinarians as doctor. I see these POS still have that "editorial policy".

Congratulations Sen. (Dr.) Boozman!

Congratulations Sen. (Dr.) Boozman!

They probably do not refer to lawyers as doctors either, so don't be offended. LOL.

Hmm. Guess I never realized a law degree was a doctorate. It is a 3 year program is it not? Well I guess the degree is J.D. so perhaps it is!
