Missouri has recently added CEBroker to track CE compliance Not sure what I may have to do.

My admittedly limited attempts to contact officials have been unsuccessful.

No "how to" instructions from your board?

They have a free account(do it yourself) OR subscription account(managed for you and reaching a live person is possible. :D

At least, create a free account.

It's not bad. We've had it in Texas for a few years seems to work well. If I recall, there is NO way to contact anyone at CE Broker from their website. Not sure if it changed.

CEBroker still doesn't reflect show my CE status. My hours are current on ARBO.

Does ARBO export the CE data to CEBroker? Hopefully, prior to renewal.

Why is CEBroker even necessary?

Not sure about ARBO. You may have to submit them yourself. That's kind of a hassle if you do many hours at once so try and input them as you go. You'll have to submit the certificates on CE Brokers website and write in the description of the course. You may have to sign the certificates so you'll need to print, sign and scan which kinda sucks.

I believe the State Boards like delegating the CE admin tasks hence CE Broker.

CE Broker and ARBO don't exchange information. I have had a paid CE broker and ARBO account for years and have taken courses that count for both. The organization that you take the courses usually submit the credits to both.

I can tell you from my experience at CEwire that ARBO does not transmit to Broker. The attendee has to print out or by some other means, send the certificate in to Broker themselves. WE cannot do it for them

They do not. You can download a transcript for the current reporting period and upload to CE Broker. It's pretty easy.

Going from memory there are three levels of account, Free, professional ( $39/yr ), and concierge ( $149 /yr )
I don't remember what the differences are but professional works well for me.

Florida > 1. No on-line CE with a rare exception for things like the Opioid course - but the 8 hour DEA Opioid course does not count. I have to take the Florida 2 hour Opioid course with a DEA number to renew my License. 2. So, at the end of a sit-down-in-the-room CE course....a QR code is displayed....I take the pic and then click on the provided link to fill in my info, submit it on my phone and it goes straight to CE Broker. E-Z peezy. 3. No mail-in (like from Review of Optometry) CE courses count. One could do it anyway for their own edification

At CEwire we can't interface witha QR code to CEbroker. The attendee must print out and submit themselves. Sorry

It's actually pretty easy to self report on CEbroker. Enter the name of the course, how you took it and click Cope in the how approved list. It almost instantly shows up.

Get the OE Tracker Mobile APP!! https://www.arbo.org/oetracker/mobile

OE Tracker is a centralized program built for the profession of optometry and designed to bridge the gap between your continuing education and your state license renewal. Most state boards have direct access to the database through an API, which often allows them to verify your hours electronically. In many jurisdictions, this eliminates the need for you to manually submit paper certificates during the renewal cycle, as the board can simply confirm your compliance through the system or by you submitting an OET report.

The platform functions as a permanent digital transcript that follows you throughout your career, regardless of where you practice. For those licensed in multiple states, the CE Analysis tool is particularly useful because it maps your earned credits against the specific requirements of each state board. It tracks and identifies exactly which categories you have fulfilled, such as synchronous or COPE-approved hours, and what is still outstanding for each specific renewal cycle.

Beyond just storing COPE credits, which are usually uploaded automatically by providers, the system allows you to manually upload certificates for local or state-specific non-COPE courses. This creates a single, verified location for all your educational data. It is a utility designed to reduce the administrative burden of maintaining licensure by ensuring all necessary data is organized and accessible to both the practitioner and the regulator.

This is great, thank you. I amazed at how difficult my state makes submitting CE hours. It's worse than it was when it was on paper. Undoubtedly the complaints are tough to deal with but, other than that, making sure ODs are jumping through the CE hoops (that I personally don't think matter much if at all) is what they're tasked with. Just automate the thing! -Charlie
